Just a thought:
You can love art. You can love books, movies, places, songs, cultures, food, pets -- but you can't love people. People are constantly changing... and if you love a person then they changed, they stop being the person you love. Make no mistake, change is good. Changing is living... but feelings change, and so do people. So you love constant things. Things that'll always be there. You can love your family, because they will always be your family. You can love yourself, because you know that you will always be yourself. You can love your childhood home, because that will always be the place you grew up in. You can love characters, because you know that every time you revisit that book, or movie, the outcome will always be the same. But you can't truly, fully love another human being.
