Arguably one of the best comic book movies ever made; Director Joss Whedon knows his fans and understands what they want. It's hard for a film to live up to its hype, especially one of this caliber. However, the Avengers does what most page to screen stories fail to do, which is to bewitch both fans and non-fans alike. With a fast paced and witty script, the chemistry between the wonderful cast palpitates with unrelenting spark, feeding off of each other in every scene. You'll laugh, you'll want to cry, and you'll stay on the edge of your seat, fingers gripped and face contorted as you take in the gorgeous visual effects. A fanboy's fantasy come to life!
Some thoughts I tweeted right after seeing the Avengers: The Avengers is cray cray! Most underused award goes to Thor though. Tony and Loki killed it supported by Cap and BW. ☺ Hawkeye was okay. Oh, and Mark Ruffalo made a pretty good Bruce Banner/ Hulk, though I still miss my BB Ed Norton. Relax, people. Not a spoiler; just my opinion. ( :
